We’re inviting you to become a buddy for incoming exchange students joining us next semester. You’ll exchange contact details with them through our buddy system, and your main role will be to support your incoming buddy and fostering international friendships in a casual yet invaluable way.
This is a fantastic opportunity not only to help out, but also to engage in various ESN activities, either with your buddy or on your own. Experience the unique Erasmus vibe in Vienna, meet students from all over the world and from other universities in Vienna, and truly enhance your student life.

- Which languages you speak, the preferred language your buddy speaks

- Institute “FH Wien der WKW” + your field of study
- School period: “First semester” (winter semester) or “Second semester” (summer semester)
⚠️Important: Be sure to set your Arrival Date (the date from when you are available as a buddy) after confirming your mail address – otherwise the system does not allow us to match you!

What’s a Buddy? We have a fantastic “buddy system” that connects you with a local FH Wien der WKW student. Your buddy will be your friendly guide to Vienna, helping you adjust to life in Austria.
What can your buddy do for you?
- Become your Vienna BFF: They’ll show you the ropes, from finding your way around the city to exploring hidden gems and experiencing the local culture.
- Language practice partner: Need help brushing up on your German or want to practice another language? Your buddy might be the perfect language exchange partner!
- Instant friend group: Get introduced to other local students through your buddy and expand your social circle.

- Fill in your details:
- Your name
- Languages you speak
- City: Vienna
- Institute: FH Wien der WKW (and your field of study, if you like)
- School period: First semester (winter) or Second semester (summer)
- Important! Set your arrival date after confirming your email address. This helps us match you with a buddy who’s available when you arrive.
